Not your whole chat history. Just what you choose to keep.
Your projects, decisions and next steps. Ready in the next chat.
Two ways to startAnimation: something said in one assistant is kept by Relay, then picked up by four others at once. From ChatGPT to Claude, Muse, Gemini and Dot. From Claude to Muse, Gemini and Grok Bot, and shared with Sam’s ChatGPT, after Sam accepted. From Cursor to Codex, Dot, Claude Code and ChatGPT. From Muse to Grok Bot, Claude, Cursor and Gemini.

What’s kept, and your control
Relay never reads your chats; it only receives what an assistant passes to a tool call.
- Relay keeps what you or your assistants save, not full chat histories. Saves can be missed.
- You can inspect your saved topics, export them, or delete your account.
- Stored content is not used to train models.
A few things to know.
Does Relay read my chats?
No. Relay receives only what an assistant sends through its tools, plus files you or it attach to a topic. It cannot read a provider’s complete chat history. Ask for a save and check its revision when it matters.
Who can see my notes?
You, through the assistants you connect, and anyone you share a topic with. You share one topic at a time by email address; Relay emails that person a sign-in link with your email address, not the topic’s name or content. Daily email limits or a delivery problem can stop that email. Either way, on this website they see an invitation with the topic’s name, your email address and their access, and can read the topic only after accepting it on this website, signed in with that address. Relay sends at most 10 invitation emails for you in 24 hours; once you have used them, you can’t share with anyone new until that limit resets. A connected assistant can ask to share a topic, but nothing is shared until you confirm it on the topic’s page. The operator can access stored data for support and abuse handling. Stored content is not used to train models.
Can I change or remove what was saved?
Yes. Inspect summaries, decisions and next steps on the topic page. Restore a retained revision, or ask an assistant to propose an update. From your account, export your topics and metadata as JSON (file contents download separately), or delete the account and revoke its app grants.
